In this experiment you will learn experimental techniques that have vast applicability in the characterization of solid state and atomic/molecular samples. This technique became the standard imaging method in the form of MRI.

You have to measure both T1 and T2 in mineral oil, and proceed to other tests as you find interesting. For practical applications, you may find a good overview from the TeachSpin web page and a "Getting Started" from U. Washington.
